1979 US Jeep CJ7

Body style: Open body (1976~1986)

Constraction: Ladder chassis with open body

Engine: 6 Cylinder 4.2L Gas Motor

Transmission: 4 speed manual with Hi, Lo Range, Part time 4wd

Suspension: Leaf spring all around

Brake: Front Disc Rear Drum

Max speed: 140 Km/h

History: The basic shape of the WWII Military MB/GPW Jeep has not changed much over the years. The open body, 4 wheel leaf spring suspension, without door, the windshield has always folded down.1976AMC finaly produced CJ7 with a 4 cylinder 2.5L, 6 cylinder 4.2L or a powerful vs Gas engine, in Euro got a 2.4L Diesel Engine, a Mid wheel Base not too long & not too short, just 10 inch longer than CJ5, make this CJ7 more easy control than CJ5, leaf spring all around, but with wheel arches & wide wheel, 4 speed Gear box or a all new Turbo Hydre matic transmission, but shades of the 50s M38A1 are still there. Honestly CJ7 is avery old design, just a copy of wartime MB GPW jeep. but every body like the Jeep shap until today. This is a New RHD, Jeep imported by agent in 1979, at that time HK Jackey club also got some for Towing, This US CJ7. Rebuild by our co at 2002, very good condition & low mile.
