The story and experience of our pioneering journey became the local hot news when we arrived Chengdu , the capital city of Sichuan. Many of the media reported our stories in detail . We also saw that on the evenings’ TV news program. Our cars were well inspected and maintained with the help of Sichuan Summit Lexus Motors Ltd and we deeply appreciated their hospitality during our stay there.

I’ve got to stop writing my trip story now . I realized I could never put my entire memories on paper completely. The wheels brought us all the way through for thousands of miles with sands and dust. It was really tough and dangerous. Apart from catching up with our schedule , we suffered from Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) frequently. Sometimes we had different opinions to compromise with . It was not easy to have a safe journey home .During those 43 days , we had so many beautiful sceneries , they were as beautiful as pictures . We also had many stories and experiences to share. In the same time , we had perceived the actual side of human nature. It is always safer to stay in cities and we can easily solve our problems with the help of our friends , however, an adventurous trip to those no man's land is another story. To tackle that , we needed to have our own capability plus luck. We could able to find some real friends there as well.

Because of the Railway running between Qinghai and Tibet started operated , we represented 4 major media from Hong Kong and another 2 from the overseas to pay those places a visit . We had some introduction on the latest condition of the North-western part of China and to enhance their awareness . I wish to extend our faithful thanks to Sichuan Summit Lexus Motors Ltd., The Phoenix TV and Oberon Engine Oil . Their generous support enabled us to complete this journey with nearly 20,000 km in 43 days successfully.

Jasmine Ma was born in 1990 in HK, she has already experienced quite a lot of adventurous journeys with her parents even before her birth to this world. Her 13-yearold younger sister Anlin and the 9 –year old younger brother Ma Wei also have such experience with their father for over 80,000 kilometers. The vehicles they used includes: Land Rover Light Weight, LC 40, Hilux Pick up, Pajero, Land Rover 110, LC 60, LC 70, LC 80, LC 100, LX470, Prado, Hummer H1, LM 002 and VW V10. However , Jasmine favors the LM002 and 512TR most. During her infancy, she loved to ride on a 40 cc motor cycle , a 49 cc off-road motor cycle and a racing car with less engine power output respectively. She was sent to Shanghai International Middle School for her education when she was 11 . She has plans to further her education in the UK two years later. Apart from the language skill she currently masters : English Cantonese, Mandarin, and Shanghai dialect, she wishes to have the opportunity to learn Japanese and French because her aunt lives in Tokyo. Both of Her father and herself love visiting Africa very much. She is fully aware of the importance of the languages she needs for the future trips.
